St. Louis 2000

Tower.jpg (20111 bytes)Tower2.jpg (25194 bytes)The NMRA St. Louis 2000 race is being held during the weekend of August 5-7, 2000.  This page will have time-delayed coverage with pictures, videos and race summary for specific classes.  We have some results in, however, we're still waiting for the pictures and videos.  Hope you enjoy.

Race News

Update 1:  SlowGT qualified number 6 in Hot Street with a 10.28 @ 131.  The weather wasn't great - around 100 degrees with a 2,700 foot altitude.  [Monday, August 7, 2000 12:30 AM MT]

Update 2:  John "Fireball" Urist chunks his turbo during his third qualifying pass due to UFOI (unintentional foreign object ingestion).  This is way bad, as John was number 1 qualifier in Super Street Outlaw with an 8.26.  [Monday, August 7, 2000 12:30 AM MT]

Update 3:  SlowGT races Hanlon in the first round.  SlowGT wins the round with Hanlon running a 14.30 - unclear as to what happened on this pass.  [Monday, August 7, 2000 12:30 AM MT]

Update 4:  SlowGT races Glidden in the second round.  SlowGT wins this round also when Glidden loses a transmission.  [Monday, August 7, 2000 12:30 AM MT]
*** Correction:  The race was against Gliddens car.  The driver was Whitaker. [Tuesday, August 8, 2000 9:30 AM MT]***

Update 5:  SlowGT loses against Lamana in the Hot Street final - 10.31 against a winning 9.68.  [Monday, August 7, 2000 12:30 AM MT]
