The engine is just getting broken in at 150,000. Start with underdrive pulleys and 1.7 roller rockers. The AOD will become a limitation in the future. You will need to change the stock torque converter or go with a manual T-5. We found that by changing the torque converter on an AOD car with modifications similar to Tucker’s – the car dropped 0.8 s off the quarter mile time. The AOD can be made to work at the expense of “streetability”.
