90gt, A new clutch can provide less slippage and therefore can provide a performance gain. This is important when using sticky drag slicks. On street type tires, the stock clutch is adequate for up 12 and 13 second cars. If you are going to replace your clutch, go with the dual-friction Centerforce unit. The clutch will last for many years under hard street/strip use.
