You need to change the fuel pressure and the distributor. The stock fuel pressure is around 36-40 psi and a carb. needs a fuel pressure of about 5-7 psi. This will require a new regulator. The stock ignition system requires the computer system to control timing advance. Replace the stock distributor with an MSD for a carb. Application or use a crank trigger system.
