Craig,
The clutch-type Jerico is mechanically very similar to a pro-shifted T-5. The Jerico is specifically designed to work without the synchronizers and therefore is much more durable and refined (for a race car) for full throttle shifting. The pro-shifted Jerico is not for street use. Jerico does make a road-race version that would be much more suited for street use. The straight-cut gears reduce frictional losses, however you will notice a very distinctive (and significant) “whine”. To install a Jerico you will need a new bellhousing, a new clutch disc, and possibly a new driveshaft.
