Any ideas about screeching brakes on a '93 5.0 LX with Lincoln Mark VII calipers on the front. I thought it was from the heat and sand in 29 Palms, California, but they screech even in the moderate climate of Oceanside, Cal. Checked the pads, and they have plenty of material on them. They're not glazed. There was a little glaze on the rotors, but it came off with a sand paper disc. The rotors weren't warped or glazed. Lubed the caliper guide pins. The brakes still screech, even when my foot is off the brakes. Help?
