We took a while because we searched for a news-stand magazine that recently covered all three Cobra R models in some detail. However, we never found the magazine. As we recall, there was no 1990 Cobra. The first year for the Cobra and Cobra R was 1993 which was basically a factory GT-40 conversion with better suspension, different spoiler/grille/wheels. There were also some interior appointments. As for specifics, we just don't know. There is some limited information at the following link
