I believe the hp for an ’87 was the same as the ’88 (225 hp, 300 ft.lbs). The ram-air setup will add a few hp (maybe up to 5 hp). Headers and Flowmasters on a stock engine will result in a very small hp change. If you like the Flowmaster sound – go for it – however, don’t expect a hp gain.
