I am currently building a 331 with Trick flow "R" heads custom solid roller cam, Custom J/E pistons 10.5to1 Holley systemax II intake. The heads flow 298cfm at .625lift. When we add the lower which is port marched to the heads flows 275/280cfm. But the problem is when we add the upper intake the flow drops to 244cfm. Our engine builder would like to see flow around 275/280cfm with the upper intake on. We have concidered having it Extrude Honed or Cut/weld hand port or using a boxed upper. The car will be run both N/A and with 200hp shot of NOS.
