Dave,

Conversion from a speed-density system to a mass-air system is fairly simple. The following items are required :

1) Mass-air computer (from an 89 - 93 mustang) 2) Mass-air meter cable 3) Mass-air meter (Bullet or Pro-M).  BTW, there are about 8 good pages of dyno and flow data on various mass-air sensors in the 5.0 Liter Ford Dyno Tests book.

The computer can be obtained from a salvage yard. I got mine from Anderson Motorsport. The Mass-air cable can be obtained from Anderson or Best Products (Pro-M). The cable is installed into the stock computer connector. This must be done very, very carefully. Follow the instructions that come with the cable. The vacuum line connecting the intake manifold to the MAP (on the firewall) must also be disconnected.
